Do you have what it takes to bring home $5,000? Pacino’s Italian Restaurant’s 12th, and final, Pacino’s Got Talent Show, is here, and this last season is shaping up to be the most competitive one yet. This year’s show will seek out the finest local singing talent.
AUDITIONS
A cappella auditions will be held on Saturday, July 25, and Saturday, Aug. 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. To keep things fair, we’re asking all participants to be 16 years or older, since newcomers will be competing against some seasoned performers.
“Because this is our grand finale year, all past contestants and all previous winners are invited to return,” said Pacino’s owner and manager, Frank Spaccarelli.
“As you might imagine, our contestants take the competition pretty seriously, especially with a payout of $5,000,” Frank remarked.
COMPETITION FORMAT
Each week, contestants will perform one song — with or without tracks — and depending on the number of participants, one or more singers will be eliminated until only four finalists remain. The finale will feature performances backed by a live band.
“For this grand finale event, we are really expecting our performers to step outside of their comfort zones, by challenging each of them with themed performances,” added Frank.
Performances will be critiqued by a panel of judges. Audience voting determines who stays, with the lowest vote-getter going home unless a judge uses their one save.
Bring your supporters because each guest receives as many voting tickets as there are contestants.
Additional tickets are given for every $10 purchase of food or drink, helping cover costs for the sound team, staff, prize money, and finale band.
Don’t miss out on a hot event this summer. This year, it’s a winnertakes-all showdown for the full $5,000 prize. If selected, the live show begins on Saturday, Aug. 15 at noon.
