Align Collective, a reformer Pilates studio in Mesa, opened its doors in November 2025 with a focus on creating more than just a place to work out.
Founded by Karena Ellison, the studio was designed to offer a calm, welcoming environment where clients can reset, recharge, and feel connected to their community. “I wanted to create a space of my own where everyone feels welcome and where diversity and inclusion truly matter,” Karena said. “It’s not just about the workout. It’s about how people feel when they walk in.”
Align Collective offers reformer Pilates, a low-impact style of exercise that builds strength, stability, and flexibility without placing excess strain on the joints. “It’s low impact, but it’ll still have you shaking in the best way,” Karena said.
Beyond the physical benefits, the studio emphasizes the importance of community. Karena said creating an environment where people feel comfortable and calm is her priority.
“When people feel welcomed, recognized, and comfortable walking in alone, that really makes a difference,” she said.
The design and atmosphere of the studio also play a central role in the overall experience. With a clean, uplifting aesthetic Align Collective aims to provide a space where clients can step away from daily stress and focus on getting stronger.
“The vibe of the space matters more than people realize,” Karena said. “When it’s calm and put together, it just feels good to walk into. You can actually unplug for a bit and get out of your head.”
Align Collective offers a variety of membership options designed to fit different schedules and experience levels, including monthly class packages, an unlimited membership, and drop-in options.
Align Collective is located at 1135 N. Recker Road, Suite 112, in Mesa. For more information, visit alignmesa.com.
