Youthful skin starts from within

sculptra-before-after copyWith spring just around the corner, what a great time to replenish your collagen from the inside out for a fresh and subtle new spring look with Sculptra Aesthetic—the fertilizer for your face.

“Not all treatments or injectables are created the same. Some target different areas of the face, and, more importantly, produce different effects,” said Muschi Morga, spa director at Cosmos Salon and MedSpa.

Sculptra Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable, which helps treat the underlying cause of facial aging. It stimulates your skin’s own natural collagen production to help restore its inner structure and increase facial volume, which we lose due to aging and sun exposure.

“Sculptra Aesthetic is made with biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body,” Muschi stated. “It helps to rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments administered by our expertly trained advanced injectors.”

Results appear gradually over the treatment regime, which is typically three injections over the course of three to four months. “Results can last for up to two years,” Muschi said.

Over time, Sculptra Aesthetic helps the body reproduce lost collagen. The number of injection appointments and the number of injections per appointment vary from person to person depending on how much collagen has been lost. “It works especially well in cheek hollows, marionette lines and chin area,” Muschi explained.

“Remember, you won’t see dramatic improvement immediately after treatment,” she continued. “Sculptra Aesthetic works subtly, improving facial areas gradually without making it look like you’ve had work done. So, give it a try or add it to your present regime.”
