SKYWARD YOUTH AVIATION LAUNCHES OUTSTANDING AVIATION PROGRAMS

Skyward Youth Aviation (SYA), a 501(c)(3) organization operating under Fledging Youth, is thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with the prestigious Falcon Field Commemorative Air Force Museum in Arizona. Beginning in June 2025, this collaboration will offer unparalleled aviation programs designed specifically for young people, aligning with SYA’s mission to, “inspire future generations to explore opportunities and careers in aviation and aerospace.”
This partnership aims to significantly expand SYA’s outreach at the CAF’s Museum, providing a greater impact by increasing students’ knowledge and interest in diverse aviation and aerospace opportunities within Arizona. We understand the paramount importance of educational value and personal growth for young participants. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to introduce students to the fascinating world of flight while simultaneously building self-confidence and enhancing crucial skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Our comprehensive summer youth programs will include:
- Aviation 101 (11-13 years old)
- Initial Pilot Prep (14-17 years old)
These programs offer a hands-on approach, utilizing state-of-the-art simulators and providing the unique opportunity for 1:1 glider flights. Your child will learn from the expertise of certified flight instructors and assistants, exploring not just flight instruction, but also captivating topics such as aviation history, the physics of flight, aerodynamics, and aircraft design. Students will benefit from the abundant resources and expertise found only at the Falcon Field Commemorative Air Force Museum.
