Unique pet facility celebrates grand opening

dog balloons and cotton candyHappy Pets Palace and Playground is hosting a two-day, dog-friendly grand opening celebration, on Friday, Sept. 5, from 3 to 7 p.m., and on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 8 a.m. to noon.

The celebration will feature prizes and giveaways, as well as a drawing for a five-night boarding package with day care. Tour the spacious indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Leashed dogs are welcome. Dog swimming pools are available for a quick dip.

Happy Pets Palace and Playground, located at 1918 E. McKellips Road, near Gilbert Road, officially opened on Aug. 22. Business hours are Monday through Saturday, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Sundays and holidays, from 8 to 10:30 a.m., and from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
