T & Joe’s Expands Offerings with Aesthetic Services for Men

by Jamie Killin September 29, 2019
written by Jamie Killin September 29, 2019

After just over a year in business, T & Joe’s Barber Shop’s popularity is growing, and the shop is expanding with a larger team of barbers, new discounts and expanded services.

Owner Teodora Gale, who opened the barber shop with her eldest son Joe, and has been a licensed hair stylist in the United States for nearly 15 years, is now adding aesthetic services to her repertoire. Men can now enjoy facials, microdermabrasion, and waxing of the eyebrows, nose and ears at T & Joe’s Barber Shop.

The services will be conducted in a newly-renovated room with relaxing lighting, speakers for soothing sound, and aromatherapy. All aesthetic services will be by appointment with Teodora, with most appointments available in the evening.

For haircuts, customers can look forward to the same great quality service and styles. The shop, which began with just Teodora and Joe, has expanded to a team of five barbers, who use their experience to provide guests with a perfect haircut and great experience.

“Our barbers are excellent and work carefully. They ensure everything is perfect before our customers leave the chair,” said Teodora. “They are amazing at providing great customer service and attention to detail on the haircut.”

During their cut, customers can look forward to a comfortable and relaxing old-fashioned barber experience complete with bottled water to drink, hot towels, and a shoulder and scalp massage.

Additionally, Teodora is showing her support for first responders and veterans with a lineup of new discounts.

Military members and first responders will receive $4 off their service and veterans will receive $3 off any time during business hours.

Teodora noticed how often first responders needed to have their hair cut to maintain a clean-cut look and wanted to show her support with the promotion.

“We support the police and first responders,” said Teodora. “We are proud of them and they are welcome any time.”

Seniors will also now receive discounts. They can look forward to $3 off on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 to 11 a.m.

Discounts are only available for walk-in guests.

T & Joe’s Barbershop is located at 1118 N. Recker Road, Suite 104, in Mesa. To learn more, or schedule an appointment, call (480) 830-0690.
