Students Earn Honor Society Rank

by Red Mountain Ranch Elementary School December 31, 2012
written by Red Mountain Ranch Elementary School December 31, 2012

Red Mountain Ranch Elementary School (RMRE) formally inducted 13 students into the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) at a ceremony held in late November.

The new inductees are Clara Bass, Christopher Bertsch, Grace Boyles, Cole Chesney, Grace Cooklin, Rhiannon Dyer, Riley Gallagher, Madison Grams, Meagan Kleinschmidt, Jackelyn Lobatos, Ethan Russell, Karli Samprone and Steven Smolka.

As members of NEHS, the students pledged their commitment to Scholarship, Responsibility, Service and Leadership. Katie Gallagher, a Red Mountain High School National Honor Society member, told the students about all the opportunities they will have as members of NEHS. Mackenzie Pagel, Jessica Conway, Makenna Fullford and Esabella Roybal described what NEHS members do for the school, the community and for themselves.

Zach Walberg, Kaitlynn Murset and Graham Copeland were the masters of ceremony. NEHS exists because of the dedication and commitment of three teachers. They are Debbie Jacobs, Jennifer Godfrey and Steve Schiro.

After the formal ceremony, everyone enjoyed refreshments and each other’s company. In the month of December, Red Mountain Ranch Elementary School’s NEHS again conducted an annual food drive to benefit the families of Kerr Elementary School in Mesa.
