student honor

Breanna Deets (right)

Breanna Deets, a senior at Red Mountain High School (RMHS), was selected as Rotary Student of the Month for this past October.

In addition, Breanna was presented an award by the Mesa Superintendent of Schools Dr. Michael B. Cowan, EdD. She has been an incredibly involved contributor of service to Red Mountain High School and her community.

She has been extensively involved in Student Supporting for Brain Tumor Research, the state’s largest student-run non-profit organization. Her work has motivated others on campus to become involved, as well.

Breanna’s reflections are both impressive and fascinating.

Breanna has also been a contributing member of the award-winning RMHS Yearbook and National Honor Society. While logging 357 service learning hours, she has maintained an amazing 4.929 grade point average.

An exceptional student, Breanna is a positive example of youth making a difference in today’s society.
