As a senior at Arizona Agribusiness and Equine Center (AAEC)—Red Mountain High School, I am preparing for my senior project, which is Supporting the Pit Bulls.

I will be holding an adoption day at the AAEC—Red Mountain campus on Dec. 9, just in time for Christmas. This event is for people interested in learning more, overcoming their fear, and/or wanting to adopt a pit bull.

Because pit bulls often are abused and abandoned, my goal is to educate people who fear the breed, and to get as many of these dogs adopted as possible.

I am working with Arf-Anage Dog Rescue, whose mission statement is, “We are a dog rescue committed to finding furever homes for non-breed specific dogs and puppies.”

Anyone with questions can call Winter Ruljancich at (602) 332-8214. If interested in the Arf-Anage Dog Rescue separate from this senior project event, contact Cathy Roe at cathyroe@peoplepc.com.
