Sassy Wink Will Give You Flawless Eyebrows

photo_1The importance of having perfect eyebrows seems to have skyrocketed in 2015, and now few things in a woman’s beauty routine are as critical.

While obtaining flawless brows might seem impossible, it has become attainable, thanks to Sassy Wink’s cutting-edge microblading service.

Microblading is a tattoo technique using a manual pen to fill and shape brows with natural looking strokes, which emulate the look of real brow hairs. Microblading is minimally painful, requires no down time, and can last more than a year.

“Anybody is a great candidate for microblading,” according to Sassy Wink owner Amber Arrington. Amber has more than 15 years of experience in the industry as an aesthetician and makeup artist. She was the first to bring microblading to Arizona, and has more training than anyone else in the state, and possibly the entire country.

After seeing photos online of the transformations made possible by microblading, Amber flew in top professionals from around the world to teach her the technique.

“I saw pictures online of the most incredible eyebrows, and I knew they couldn’t be real, but they looked real,” she said. “I knew I had to learn how to do it.”

Microblading is a solution for those with no brows, those who are missing sections of their brows, and for those with full brows looking for more definition, dimension and fullness, eliminating the need to fill in brows with makeup.

The microblading service takes approximately two and a half hours and includes a full consultation. Amber sits down with clients to determine what they are looking for, and what brow shape will look best on them.

“I listen to the clients and what they want,” Amber said. “I allow their bone structure and their face to guide me.”

After the consultation, she uses the manual pen to begin the microblading process.

“It’s controlled by my hand, not a machine,” Amber explained.

This technique creates a much more natural looking brow than traditional eyebrow tattooing.

Following the initial procedure, clients return after four to six weeks for the first touch-up. Microblading should then be redone yearly for best results.

In addition to microblading, Sassy Wink also offers professional, high-quality eyelash extensions. In addition, Amber offers classes through the Sassy Wink Academy. Taking place once a month, the classes cover eyelash extension application and microblading techniques.
