Red Mountain Ranch Effort Continues

by Nancy Nemitz March 29, 2017
written by Nancy Nemitz March 29, 2017

Red Mountain Ranch resident Dave Knorr, one of the leaders in the effort to stop Divot Partners, met with District 5 Councilmember and new Vice Mayor David Luna, who enthusiastically endorsed the effort to stop development of the golf course into residential properties.

The opposition effort now has the support from the City of Mesa, the Red Mountain Ranch Owners Association, and the vast majority of its 3,500 residents.

Stay informed and get involved by going to RedMountainCommunity.com to read the latest news and the official documents.

While there is a strong team continuing to work on this effort, there is another small group forming. Their mission is to tap into the enthusiasm and energy that has coalesced around the golf course issue and build on the original vision of the Red Mountain Ranch Master Plan.

The group wants to explore other areas homeowners can unite around to make Red Mountain Ranch an even better place to live. If you have an interest in being part of this effort, please email me at nancy@createthespace.com, and I’ll put you in touch with the team.

Please Note

The Board of Adjustment hearing is on April 12, beginning at 5 p.m., in the City of Mesa Council Chambers. The rezoning issue is the only topic on the agenda. The hearing is open to the public.

Nancy Nemitz welcomes your comments. Send an email to nancy@createthespace.com.
