poinsettiaNo matter what the occasion, gorgeous fresh flowers make any event feel special, and the holidays are a particularly nice time to bring the outdoors inside.

Whether you’re keeping things simple or going for something spectacular, you have a lot of choices. A wide variety of flowers and plants are associated with the holiday season. Evergreens, poinsettia, mistletoe, and holly can all evoke favorite holiday memories.

Arrangements of any type of flower can be perfect for creating holiday spirit, and a fragrant wreath on the door is a nice way to welcome guests.

Red Mountain Florist, a new florist shop in Mesa, located on the northeast corner of Power and McDowell roads, wants to help make your holidays perfect. Owners Jennifer Crawford and Jerry Harber, a father/daughter team, have a vast selection of flower arrangements and greenery.

“My first job, at age 16, was working for a small florist shop,” said Jennifer, a master florist. “I really loved the creative aspects of floristry.” When the opportunity to open their own shop presented itself, Jennifer and Jerry knew the timing was right. “Not many things compare to the joy of receiving a surprise gift of fresh flowers,” said Jennifer. “There is nothing better than delivering flowers to people on their birthday. People are thrilled to be remembered this way.”

Red Mountain Florist is in the business of helping people celebrate in style. Any event, big or small, can be improved with fresh flowers. Please remember them the next time you are planning something special.rm florist
