Non-surgical procedure can diminish flaws revealed by climate

Before and After

When living in Arizona’s climate, local fashions of revealing sundresses, tank tops and sexy, low-cut evening attire make it almost impossible to hide physical flaws we feel we may have, especially an aging or sun-damaged décolleté.

Not to worry. Muschi Morga, spa director at Cosmos Salon and Medspa, has put together a fantastic spa special to correct décolleté skin damage using the ultrasound technology of Ultherapy.

“Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared procedure to lift and tighten skin on the hard-to-treat areas of face, neck and chest,” Muschi explained. Ultherapy uses the safe, time-tested energy of ultrasound to stimulate the deep structural support layers of the skin—including those typically addressed in a surgical facelift.

“In about an hour, and with no downtime, you’ll be well on your way to tighter, better-fitting skin,” she claimed. “However, this isn’t instant gratification. It’s not like injectables that work immediately,” Muschi cautioned. “Ultherapy works by stimulating the existing collagen layer under your skin to renew. We don’t do a rapid series of treatments. We do one, and let the collagen renew. It takes a few weeks to a month or so for the effects to become apparent. You will begin to see the loose skin firming and the chest becoming smoother. Improvement continues for three to six months. If necessary, we can do follow-up treatments then.”

“Since everyone’s skin is different, we will give you an honest appraisal of how the treatment should work for you,” Muschi continued. “If you want to see for yourself, Cosmos is offering a free session with the new, exclusive to Cosmos, Ulthera Photo Simulator. It takes a photo of your untreated area and sends it to the Ulthera Simulation Center. Within a half hour, they will email the photo back to you with a realistic picture of how you can improve.”

Cosmos’ Licensed Aesthetician and Certified Laser Technician Elle Baker has also been extensively trained on the Ultherapy procedure, and she will be available for consultations and treatments. Ultherapy for the chest is usually $750, but Cosmos will be offering its chest area special for only $549. In addition, you can augment your results with a discounted price of only $48, usually $78, on PCA Skin Neck and Décolleté Cream, to use topically while your skin firms from within.

“We’re so excited about Ultherapy that Cosmos plans to offer on-going Ultherapy specials over the next few months to address all the different areas of the face and neck,” Muschi said. “For instance, the chest is one area, but the loose skin on the neck can be addressed, as well, in combination with the chest treatment or a lower face treatment. A lateral brow lift is another area,” Muschi said. “Keep looking for our upcoming monthly specials, and treat the areas you’re most eager to change, or do them all.”
