Many conditions can affect our eyes as we age. Join Aasim Kamal, MD, as he discusses the anatomy of the eye, how the eye ages, how diabetes can change the eyes, macular degeneration, cataracts and cataract surgery.

Fast Facts of Fats: How they Affect Cholesterol

Are you aware that the different types of fats in your diet can have an effect on your cholesterol values? Join Beth Lewis, MDA, chief clinical dietitian at Mountain Vista Medical Center, and learn more about finding variety and balance with a healthy diet.

Interventional Pain Management: Improving Your Quality of Life

Pain can take over your life in a profound way. Those who suffer with pain may not be aware of the available treatment options. This seminar will highlight the specialty of interventional pain management. Join Ann Cheri Foxx, MD, as she discusses how this area of medicine may help to improve the overall quality of life for those living with pain.

These free health seminars are designed to help you stay healthy. Mountain Vista Medical Center is located just north of the U.S. 60 at Southern Avenue and Crismon Road. Seminars are held in classrooms 3 and 4, located on the second floor of the hospital near the cafeteria. Park on the east side of the hospital, and enter through the Outpatient entrance.
