MixxMethod Pilates and Barre Studio Invites You to an Open House

by MixxMethod Studio October 2, 2015
written by MixxMethod Studio October 2, 2015

MIXX METHOD PIC 2If you ever thought about trying Pilates or Barre, here is your chance to join us at the MixxMethod Pilates and Barre Studio open house, on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9 to 11 a.m.

The event features free mini classes, raffle prizes and package discounts. Sign up now to reserve your spot in class. For the class schedule, visit our website at mixxmethod.com.

What is Pilates? The Pilates method is a series of controlled movements performed on specially designed spring-resistant exercise equipment. It is a full body workout ideal for every body, every level of fitness and every age. The focus is on inner strength and core control—improving posture, balance and coordination. Pilates dynamically works to both stretch and activate muscles, leaving the body aligned, lengthened and strong.

What is Barre?  Barre is a unique fitness method utilizing the ballet barre to combine components of Pilates, yoga and ballet conditioning techniques. The body is worked from head to toe during our interval training sets, working to strengthen and stretch every muscle. The method is designed to lean the body, strengthen the core, and develop beautiful, sculpted, long, lean muscles, which are strong, yet flexible.

For more information, call (480) 840-1860. MixxMethod Pilates and Barre Studio is located on the southwest corner of Power and Thomas roads.
