Donna Kohlhase recently joined hundreds of fellow professional insurance agents, advisors, brokers, consultants and employee benefit specialists from across the country in Washington, D.C.

The group met with United States Senate and House members and staff as part of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors’ Congressional Conference.

Congressional Conference attendees talked with their members of Congress about the importance of life insurance, annuities, retirement savings and employee benefits for their clients and the U.S. economy. Additional topics of discussion included tax reform and middle market access to financial advice and service.

A local agent with State Farm Insurance, Donna is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, which sponsored the event. She joined NAIFA leaders, including IFAPAC, APIC and government relations chairs; association presidents and executives; NAIFA President Juli McNeely; President-elect Jules Gaudreau; and members of NAIFA’s board of trustees for the event.

Life insurance products currently account for 20 percent of long-term savings by Americans. The life insurance industry pays out $1.5 billion each day and supports 2.5 million jobs.

To discuss your life insurance needs, please contact Donna Kohlhase at (480) 396-2140.
