Intravenous Nutrition Offers Effective Way To Enhance Health and Well-being

Wellness is the new trend in health care.

Proactively taking control of your health before serious chronic disease takes place is key to a happy and healthy lifestyle. Intravenous (IV) nutrition is a powerful therapy to help repair and restore damage that occurs to our cells. IV nutrition is a quick, effective and safe way to help stave off the harms caused by poor nutrition, free radical damage, injuries from pollution and other harmful chemicals, as well as poor lifestyle choices.

Malabsorption, either from disease or bariatric (weight loss) surgery, can cause many digestive problems. Weight loss, bloating, fatigue, muscle cramps, skin rashes and bruising are some of the problems common with malabsorption.

Blood tests and stool samples can diagnose malabsorption and determine what vitamins and minerals are deficient. IV nutrition allows for vitamins and minerals to directly enter the blood stream and on to the cells without passing through the gut. Optimizing pre- and post-surgery nutrition increases the chances for a better recovery and less nausea and vomiting.

Tei-rell Infusions, recently relocating to Las Sendas, offers a selection of IV nutrition therapies to best meet your needs. Infusions may include a variety of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and other nutrients. These infusions are designed to enhance a patient’s health or well-being.

The most famous IV nutrition infusion is the Myers Cocktail, named after John Myer, who first started infusing a mixture of magnesium, calcium, B-vitamins and vitamin C. The Myers Cocktail helps reduce fatigue, the effects of seasonal allergies, fibromyalgia, asthma and more.

Other IV nutrition therapies offered by Tei-rell Infusions include the Immune Boost. The Competitor, the Fountain of Youth and the Hangover Recovery.

The Immune Boost is similar to the Myers Cocktail, but includes zinc, selenium and a glutathione push to help the immune system ward off viruses. The Competitor is for non-professional athletes looking to improve their performance and shorten their recovery time with a boost of amino acids.

The Fountain of Youth hydrates and plumps the skin, as well as provides adequate nutrition to the cells, reducing oxidative stress. The Hangover Recovery is an infusion of fluids, anti-nausea medication and a headache reducer for those who occasionally overindulge.

Whether you are looking for a quick fix from a hangover, or you suffer from malnutrition or malabsorption, Tei-rell Infusions has an IV for you. Vitamin B12 and MIC (lipo-shot for weight loss) are available, too.

To schedule your appointment with our infusion specialist and determine what infusion may be most beneficial for you, call (480) 559-4462. For a more in-depth assessment of your health and nutritional status, schedule a consult with our nurse practitioner.
