Healthy Goals Are Attainable with Proper Products and Guidance

11376952_xxlIf you are looking to reach the next level in your health and fitness journey, supplements can be a great place to start.

At Performance Supplements, you can rest assured you will get the right products for your body and goals, as well as the education you need to ensure those products work for you.

Performance Supplements is a family-owned business, which opened in Mesa this past January. They offer everything you need to reach your goals—from protein bars, drinks and powders, to vitamins and carbohydrate powders.

“We have everything you’re going to find in any other nutrition store,” said Alex Frekey, owner of Performance Supplements.

While Performance Supplements might be offering many of the same products as other stores, they offer the individualized attention and guidance other stores can’t.

“I spend a lot of time with individual customers so everyone can understand why they’re taking the supplements they buy,” Alex said. “I want to help people understand how to take these products correctly.”

Alex, a former World Wrestling Entertainment, or WWE competitor, actor and bodybuilder, is even available by appointment to offer his expertise during free consultations. Alex’s experience as a competitive bodybuilder for nearly a decade has given him plenty of experience in the fitness sector.

In addition to his years as a bodybuilder, Alex has spent the last four years in the nutrition industry. He has had the opportunity to gain a complex understanding of the ingredients in nutritional products and has even visited some supplement manufacturing facilities.

Tammy Ballew, Alex’s mother-in-law and co-owner of Performance Supplements, also is able to offer knowledge and expertise. This is especially true regarding women or those who are looking to start working out and improving their health later in life.

“We’re here to actually help people,” Alex said. “We don’t want to have people purchase products that won’t work because they don’t know how to use them properly.”

Performance Supplements is located at 1135 N. Recker Road, Suite 112. For more information, call (480) 924-6598.
