Fox Dermatology & Aesthetics is bringing a full spectrum of skin care to Mesa, from medical treatments and preventative screenings to advanced aesthetic services.

“We’re proud to serve as a resource for the entire family,” said Fox Dermatology founder Carlie Fox, PA-C. “Whether it’s a teenager struggling with acne or an adult coming in for their routine skin cancer screening, we’re here to help everyone stay healthy and feel their best.”

Carlie, a Mesa-native, opened Fox Dermatology in June after more than a decade of practicing dermatology in Gilbert. The practice treats a variety of conditions including eczema, psoriasis, and rashes, which can negatively impact a patient’s quality of life, but are often ignored.

“Patients don’t realize how many effective treatment options are available now to address things like eczema, psoriasis – even dry skin,” said Carlie. “In the winter we’ll see people – especially those in healthcare or nail techs – who wash their hands so much that they experience such extreme dry skin their knuckles are bleeding. They don’t think to see a dermatologist, but there are things we can do to treat these conditions and bring relief.”

Similarly, Carlie shared that 40% of omen over the age of 40 still have acne, which can be effectively treated to improve not only the appearance of the skin, but also the patient’s mental health and overall confidence.

In addition to addressing current skin concerns, Carlie recommends adults proactively begin skin cancer screenings as early as age 18, particularly those with a history of frequent sunburns or tanning bed use. For those with a family history of multiple skin cancers or melanoma, Carlie has even begun screenings for children as young as 12. If specialty skin cancer surgery is required, Fox Dermatology also offers in-office Mohs surgery with Dr. Ryan Jackson.

The practice also offers several popular cosmetic services including Botox, filler, microneedling, advanced facials, and chemical peels. For a limited time, the team is offering complimentary cosmetic consultations, perfect for identifying a treatment before Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings.

Carlie and the Fox Dermatology team can also make customized recommendations on their favorite skin care products and sunscreen, many of which are carried in the office.

Fox Dermatology currently has sameweek appointments and accepts most major insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Banner, and Aetna.

Fox Dermatology & Aesthetics is located at 3514 N. Power Road, Suite 123, in Mesa. To learn more or schedule a consultation, visit foxderm.com or call (480) 319-9500.
