Elevated Acidity in Your Blood Can Kill You

by Red Mountain Family Chiropractic June 4, 2011
written by Red Mountain Family Chiropractic June 4, 2011

good health cycle of the bodyThe cause of  major diseases in the vast majority of people worldwide could be something as simple as increased blood acidity.

Most people who suffer from unbalanced pH are acidic. This condition forces the body to borrow minerals—including calcium, sodium, potassium and magnesium—from vital organs and bones to neutralize the acid and safely remove it from the body. Because of this strain, the body can suffer severe and prolonged damage due to high acidity, a condition which may be undetected for years.

Mild acidosis can cause such problems as:

• Cardiovascular damage, including the constriction of blood vessels and the reduction of oxygen

• Weight gain, obesity and diabetes

• Bladder and kidney conditions, including kidney stones

• Immune deficiency

• Acceleration of free radical damage, possibly contributing to cancerous mutations

• Hormone concerns

• Premature aging

• Osteoporosis, weak, brittle bones, hip fractures and bone spurs

• Psoriasis and skin conditions

• Joint pain, aching muscles and lactic acid buildup

• Low energy and chronic fatigue

• Slow digestion and elimination

• Yeast/fungal overgrowth

Some common diseases related to acidity are:

• Cancer

• Obesity

• Diabetes

• Hyper/Hypotension

• Kidney ailment and kidney stones

• Osteoporosis and gout

• Chronic constipation

• Stress and headache

One of the safest ways to become alkaline is to drink alkaline water. Red Mountain Family Chiropractic will offer healthy, restorative alkaline water free of charge for a month. Bring either empty glass containers or those marked with a 2, 4 or 5 in a triangle on the bottom of the container. (These leach less plastic into your water.)

Red Mountain Family Chiropractic is located at 2849 N. Power Road, Suite 103, next to Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt.

Office hours are Monday and Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to noon, and from 3 to 7 p.m.; Friday, from 9 a.m. to noon, and from 3 to 6 p.m.
