Dr. Hiatt Brings 25 Years of Plastic Surgery Experience to Mesa

13260555_lWorking with an experienced surgeon is key when it comes to achieving your desired look.

Dr. Karl B. Hiatt, of Hiatt Plastic Surgery, has 25 years of experience, is a board certified plastic surgeon, and is a member of multiple associations, boards and societies.

While Dr. Hiatt offers a wide array of services, he specializes in Mommy Makeovers, which include some combination of a breast lift, breast augmentation, tummy tuck and liposuction. He also is highly skilled in face and eye lifts.

Additionally, Dr. Hiatt offers laser hair removal, photofacials, injectables and other skin care treatments.

In fact, according to Dr. Hiatt, laser hair removal is one of the busiest parts of his practice, and a procedure with which he and his staff have 15 years of experience.

“We were one of the first offices to bring laser hair removal to the Valley,” he said.

One of the next big advancements Dr. Hiatt is offering is miraDry, a treatment that removes odor and sweat-producing glands, and 70 percent of hair, usually with just one treatment.

“There are very few of these machines in the country,” he said.

Dr. Hiatt was the first to offer this treatment in Mesa, and he is one of a few able to offer the treatment in the Valley.

To ensure he is offering the best value possible for patients, Dr. Hiatt built his own surgery center. Turning Pointe Surgery Center is nationally certified and licensed by the state of Arizona.

The value Dr. Hiatt’s office provides comes with high quality.

“I don’t think anyone does any better at what I do,” Dr. Hiatt said.

He emphasized that with more surgeons, and all the different specialties, ranging from oral to general surgery, and performing cosmetic procedures, it is important to make sure the surgeon you choose for cosmetic surgery is a plastic surgeon who is part of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

“You have to be careful if you’re going to seek out plastic surgery,” he said.

Dr. Hiatt and other members of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons are board certified in plastic surgery, and are required to continue their medical training.

Dr. Hiatt has spent his entire career practicing in Mesa, and the Hiatt name has a long history in Arizona’s medical community.

“My dad was instrumental in medicine in the Valley,” Dr. Hiatt said. Among many other achievements, Rudger Puckett Hiatt was one of the founders of what was previously known as Mesa Lutheran Hospital.

Dr. Hiatt plans to continue his and his family’s legacy in Mesa.

“I love Mesa,” he said. “I appreciate what this city has given to me.”
