written by Dawn Abbey March 30, 2015March 30, 2015

fashion showCosmos Salon and Day Spa will be styling hairdos for all 27 runway models and local celebrities rocking the runway at the Rock the Runway fashion celebration of rock, on Monday, April 27, to raise funds for the Alice Cooper Rock Teen Center.

Salon co-owner Sandra Barbetta is well known as stylist to local television anchors and celebrities. Adding her own and her staff’s expertise in current hair and makeup fashion sense is sure to add excitement and drama to the event.

Sheryl Cooper, wife of rock legend Alice Cooper, invites just the ladies for her third annual Rock the Runway Fashion and Trunk Show, at Las Sendas Golf Club, 7555 E. Eagle Crest Drive. Enjoy a luncheon buffet with wine and music, as well as a day of rock, fun, fashion and shopping for the hottest in rock and roll accessories, makeup and jewelry.

Doors open at 10:30 a.m. for the Trunk Show and shopping. A buffet luncheon, complete with wine, is served at 11 a.m., followed by the Rock the Runway fashion extravaganza. The Trunk Show and shopping continues afterward, until 1:30 p.m.

Tickets are $75 per person, with a portion of the proceeds directly benefitting Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock and the music and dance programs offered at The Rock Teen Center.

According to The Rock Teen Center website, the non-profit organization, founded by Alice Cooper, is a faith-based organization inspiring teens to grow through music, dance and art. This is accomplished by providing vocational training in sound, lighting and staging, with fellowship, too, all in a safe, supervised facility. The center cultivates a love of the arts to inspire and challenge teens to embrace artistic excellence and avoid drugs, guns and gangs.

For reservations, send an email to Joy Covell at joy@alicecoopersolidrock.com. To contact Las Sendas Golf Club, call (480) 396-4000. For information or appointments at Cosmos Salon and Day Spa, call (480) 844-0707, or visit the salon, located on the northeast corner of Power and McDowell roads.
