Car and Bike Show Slated to Have Great Food and Music

car showMahnah Club of the East Valley is excited to announce its annual spring fund-raising event, to be held on Saturday, March 2.

Ticket to Ride Car and Bike Show and evening Benefit Reception promise to be festive events.

The day begins with the Car and Bike Show, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by a Benefit Reception from 7 to 10 p.m. Both events will take place at San Tan Village, 2218 E. Williams Field Road, in Gilbert.

The Car and Bike Show is slated to have great food, raffle prizes, music and 18 different classes in which vehicles can compete for trophies.

The Benefit Reception will showcase San Tan Village restaurants, which will serve heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages, and compete for trophies in several categories. Dance to the music of Still Cruisin’, Tucson’s No. 1 band. Participate in the auction and raffle prizes, and look for several surprises throughout the evening.

Proceeds from the Ticket to Ride’ Car and Bike Show and Benefit Reception will benefit Save the Family Foundation of Arizona and the Child Crisis Center, as well as the Mahnah Club East Valley high school scholarship program.

For more than 50 years, members of Mahnah Club, a nonprofit 501c3 all volunteer women’s service organization, have worked tirelessly to support charities striving to improve the lives of children and provide supportive family units.

Save the Family Foundation of Arizona provides transitional housing and support services in order to assist families in breaking the cycle of homelessness.

The Child Crisis Center, founded in 1981 by the Mahnah Club, provides a safe environment for children in need, as well as support services to help strengthen families.

Mahnah Club has presented scholarships to civic-minded high school seniors who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend college or higher educational classes.

fundraiser@mahnahclub.org.

Mahnah Club encourages anyone who wants to make a difference in the lives of others to join them at their Ticket to Ride Benefit Reception.
