Canyon Winds Hosts Second Annual Car Show

by Canyon Winds Retirement Community March 2, 2020
written by Canyon Winds Retirement Community March 2, 2020

Vroom! Vroom! Vroom!

There is nothing like the sound of an immaculately restored classic, no matter what year it is. Original or hot rod, they are works of art!

Canyon Winds Senior Living, in Northeast Mesa, will be loaded with them on Saturday, March 7. It is the community’s second annual car show. If it’s anything like last year, wow!

Last year there were 44 amazing cars, motorcycles and even Mesa Fire had a huge fire truck there for all to see. More than 350 people attended, and Chef Larry fed them all with burgers, hot dogs and more.

The car show starts at 10 a.m. and goes until 1 p.m. Bring the whole family. There will be popcorn and lunch provided. Bring your classic car, your camera, or just come for the fun of checking out really cool cars and their vroom vrooms!

Canyon Winds is located at 2851 N. Boulder Canyon, Mesa. For more information, call (480) 948-0700.

Head east on McDowell Road from Power Road, go over the Loop 202 Freeway, and it’s on your left. The beautiful, new four-story senior living building, nestled in the foothills of Las Sendas, provides independent living, assisted living and memory care.
