Las Sendas History ProjectContribute your time and talent to the Las Sendas Centennial project.

In celebration of the 2012 Arizona State Centennial, volunteers are needed to contribute their research and writing skills, photos, stories and documents to The Las Sendas History Project.

Join the kick-off preview meeting to share your enthusiasm on July 14, at 7 p.m. at the Trailhead Members Club, 7900 E. Eagle Crest Drive, located at Power and Thomas roads. Light refreshments will be served.

Las Sendas residents Janet Patrick and Katherine Karpinsky are leading the way with this exciting 12-month project. Their goal is to create an updated history of Las Sendas from 1900 to the present.

The Mesa Historical Society and the Mesa Historical Museum have agreed to collaborate on this new project. All contributed materials will be returned.

Contact Janet Patrick for more information. Send an e-mail to dickp44406@aol.com.
