For the 14th consecutive year, Flancer’s Incredible Sandwiches and Pizzeria restaurants are hosting their Pizza-Eating Contest and Fund-raisers to benefit local charities—Warfighter Sports, Sunshine Acres Children’s Home and Jewish Family and Children’s Services.
The ever-popular Pizza-Eating Contest is set for 11 a.m., on Sunday, April 27, at Flancer’s Gilbert location, 610 N. Gilbert Road. The $30 entrance fee includes a limited edition T-shirt and the chance to win a prize valued at $500 or more. Miss Arizona will be on hand to present the prize and trophy. Everyone also is encouraged to support the charities by buying tickets for exciting raffle prizes at Flancer’s restaurants, and online at flancers.com, through April 27. Tickets start at $10 for one, going up to 25 tickets for $100.
