It’s the New Year, and the staff at Las Sendas Golf Club are already busy planning a multitude of events for an exciting year ahead.
In addition, Javier Cardenas has been named the new Director of Food & Beverage for the club. Javier, who has 30 years of experience in the culinary field, has worked in the Valley since relocating here from Michigan in 2014. His previous management position was at the highly-rated Baja Joe’s Cantina in Northeast Mesa.
“I’ve worked the front and back of the house, learning the business from the ground up. As Food & Beverage Director, I am already planning on introducing some innovative cuisine to add to our latest menu. My specialties are seafood and steak entrées, and we’ll have our chefs create some surprising offerings in the weeks to come,” Javier promised.

MORE WINE DINNERS
There has been such a great response to our Wine Dinners at The Vistas Pavilion that we have already planned three more this year, said Director of Catering Sales Carla Shaw. “The season kicks off Wednesday, Jan. 26, at 5:30 p.m. with a reception, followed by a four-course gourmet dinner at 6 p.m., paired with wines from Duckhorn Vineyards. Additional dinners are set for March and April, and you can reserve now to make sure you get a place at the table for these quickly sold-out events.
The Vistas Pavilion will also continue the tradition of the exceedingly popular Easter Sunday and Mother’s Day brunches, Carla said.
